Footpath Challenge
Woodham Common (map)
For those who haven’t had a chance to get involved before, the Footpath Challenge started last winter, and is a joint project between Horsell Common Preservation Society and The Surrey Greenspace Project to build a 1.2 km all access trail circular trail on Woodham Common, Woking using purely volunteer labour.
The day runs from 10am – 3pm (although there’s no obligation to stay the whole time) with a great free BBQ lunch for the hard workers.
The last event in Nov, combined with an archaeological dig, was a great success and we‘re looking forward to ‘building’ on what was achieved last year. All you need is outdoor shoes and old clothes.
