Steve attended the Rotaract European Meeting in San Marino - over 300 Rotaractors visited from around the world with more than 500 at the last night's gala ball. The meeting on the Saturday went well concerning ERIC, the European Rotaract Information Centre, which aims to encourage overseas projects and collaboration, also sharing lessons learned with the broader community.

This weekend three of us joined Epsom Rotaract to help with a garden project they are involved with at a local hospital. The garden, which went into disuse over 10 years ago, had become overgrown with thistles and moss.. It is now with the help of Local Rotarians and Rotaractos being transformed into a wildlife garden with a variety of plans and trees to attract local birds and insects. As devistating as the pictures may look, the harsh cutting back is necessary to attract more butterflies and wildlife next year - the budliea will produce many more shoots and flowers this way!
